RIDE Locks The Door On 2021 Program

Seasonal revelers will have to do some extra planning to keep themselves safe this year as the Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program will not be operating this holiday season.Program organizers made the announcement last week.

Michaleski On Extended Leave

Dauphin MLA Brad Michaleski will miss the fall legislative session the Manitoba PC Caucus announced Friday.Michaleski will be on an extended doctor recommended medical leave and will not be present for the remainder of the fall session. It is unrelated to COVID-19.

Klein Signs With Australian Label

A country music artist originally from the Parkland has signed her first deal with a music label.Frannie Klein, who grew up in Bacon Ridge and Eddystone and attended school in Ste. Rose, recently signed with Heartsville Records, which is based in Australia.
The Manitoba Government announced late Friday afternoon that they are changing public health orders with Christmas on the horizon.Health and Seniors Care Minister Audrey Gordon, and Dr. Brent Roussin, chief provincial public health officer made the announcement Friday adding there is a strain on the province's health care system.
The Dauphin Hospital Foundation wishes to formally recognize a bequest from the estate of Anne Stewart.Mrs. Stewart passed away, Jan. 23, 2021 and left the Foundation $100,000. This was on top of a $15,000 donation Anne personally made to the foundation in 2020 in memory of her husband Peter.
