Northland Ford scares hunger

As part of a long-standing effort, Northland Ford has been doing an annual perishable food drive every year to help battle hunger in the tri-community area. There were two ways to give as part of this initiative. People could drop off non-perishable food items that would be donated or with the purchase of a vehicle, Northland Ford would donate to a local non-profit organization.
The non-perishable goods collected were on display in their showroom for the month of October.
“We started this at least six years ago and were partnered with We Scare Hunger, but recently for the past two year’s it’s been Northland Ford Scares Hunger event,” said Northland Ford Finance and Insurance Manager Sierra Cote. “This year we started collecting food on Oct. 1 and wrapped up on the closing day of Oct. 31.
