Residents in the tri-community can expect recycling services to be disrupted over the next little while as a result of staffing and operational changes. Right now, the Tri-Coming Recycling Service is experiencing a shortage of staff that the board needs to hire.
“We are working with all the partners and the recycling centre to restore recycling services in the tri-community area as quickly as possible,” said Town of The Pas Mayor Andre Murphy. “Currently, we are actively recruiting for a Recycling Manager to replace our retiring manager and will be recruiting for other staffing once we have a new manager in place. We will likely start recruiting recycling workers within the next week or so, once the recycling board has an opportunity to meet.
