M30 is proud to present 2023 M30 Female Athlete of the Year. This year recipient is awarded Paige Hester from Opaskwayak Cree Nation, MB.
Paige Hester was back and forth when it came to deciding about graduating this year. Mostly due to the fact that when OLC senior varsity girls soccer team played in soccer zones in Flin Flon. The girls faced Thompson in the Semi finals and Paige got injured and broke her leg in two places. It devastated her because she would not be able to play volleyball in her senior year and volleyball has always had her heart.
