During the period covered by this police report there were 102 calls to RCMP strictly covering the Russell area. Due to the sheer volume of calls, the editor and Cpl. Church hand-picked which incidents made the paper.

July 15th 10:00 am
RCMP received a call that a daughter had kicked her mother out of a trailer on Assiniboine. Now however, she was worried about where her 61-year-old mother was. A police patrol was made and the woman was located, police were told that she was enroute to Winnipeg and informed the daughter of that.

The same mother was causing a scene going in and out of the RBC. Police attended and told the woman to leave the area.
July 15th 10:39 pm
Report of a truck stolen from a house in Binscarth. The vehicle was found the following day just south of Binscarth in a ditch hidden in an approach.
