After a dry summer with very little precipitation, the taps were turned on during the last couple of weeks, with 71.9 mm of rain being reported in Swan River between Aug. 11-17, or 132.3 mm total if extended to Aug. 6. Only two days in that time period experienced no precipitation at all.
