The Swan Valley Axemen hosted their home opener inside of the Swan River Centennial Arena against the Wapella Blackhawks, Nov. 23. The Axemen managed to pick up a 9-2 win, and raised approximately $80,000 through a Valley wide 50/50, with their share going towards the Stechyshyn family.
