Chamber nominations set

Nominees for the Parkland Chamber’s annual awards to be presented at the Chamber Celebration Night, Mar. 10 at Countryfest Community Cinema and online.

The nominees this year include:
• Business Person of the Year - Lyall Bates, Hemp Sense Inc.; Carissa Caruk-Ganczar, The Hub Dauphin; and Erin Sigvaldason, Sigvaldason and Company Chartered Professional Accountant.
• Young Entrepreneur of the Year - Kyle Zurba, Fire Line Welding; Gabrielle Carriere, Hair Maiden; and Devin Kiesman, DTK Electric Ltd.
• Community Appreciation Group - The Hub Dauphin; Habitat for Humanity Dauphin Chapter; Under One Roof; Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival; and Thrift-O-Rama Ste. Rose.
• Community Appreciation Individual - Charlene Gulak; Jamie Derhak; and Brenda Gregory.
• Outstanding Business - Sharon’s Catering; Top Rank Diamond Drilling; Sammy’s Farm Supply; and Embroidery by Design and Promotions.

The nomination committee will also honour someone with the Legacy Business Award.

Tickets for in-person attendance are $15 for chamber members and $20 for non members and includes appetizers and a limited selection bar. Limited seating is available.

Online viewing is available for $5.
