Manitoba’s official Opposition has filed a complaint with the province’s Commissioner of Elections against Premier Wab Kinew and the NDP for making a new government promise during the Spruce Woods byelection blackout
period.
The blackout applies to all government advertising and news releases except where the health and safety of Manitobans – such as new fire bulletins – may be at risk.
