The family of three of the 30 World War II veterans honoured with banners on Roblin’s Main Street has shared their war time stories. The remembrances were submitted by Herb and Diane Lovas.
“It is great that they are putting memorial flags up on main street in Roblin to honour these people,” Lovas wrote in an e-mail. “Thinking a little story would go along with that.”
