Waywayseecappo firefighters celebrate completion of basic skills training

Nine members of the Waywayseecappo Fire Department recently celebrated the successful completion of the Manitoba Basic Skills Firefighting Program. This important milestone marks a step forward in strengthening community safety and preparedness, ensuring firefighters are well-trained to respond to emergencies with confidence and professionalism.
The department extends heartfelt thanks to Chief Clearsky and Council for their ongoing support of this training initiative. Their commitment to building a strong, skilled fire service has been vital to the program’s success. Special appreciation is also shared with Councillor Gabrielle Cote and Elder Jim Cote, who attended the ceremony to recognize and congratulate the members on their achievement.
